I invented a word!

Yeah, you read it right. I invented a word. A word that is so excellent, everyone who hears it says “hey, that is cool”, and then proceeds to use it themselves.

So, I’m going to go ahead and announce this word here, so y’all will know to credit me for the accidental genius.

And that word, ladies and gentlemen, is:

Saucesome

[saw-suhm]

adjective

1. fantastic, inspiring awe, particularly when referring to food.

2. Inspired by a great BBQ sauce

3.  A convenient abbreviation of a Southern person saying “That is awesome”.

Wait, you don’t understand though. This word even more saucesome when it’s said with the appropriate accent, which I have deemed to be East Texan. Thankfully, I have my friend MH (as featured in the Caddo post) to demonstrate:

*NB I realise its quite possible that someone, somewhere has uttered this word before. However, I guarantee you they haven’t included it in their parlance with as much gusto as I have. Plus I hadn’t heard it before it popped into my head. So shut it.

Now, go forth and use it! Lemme see you include it in your comments!!

Unfortunately, it does indeed already exist; but it is awesome.
    Sorry, saucesome.

Yup. Saucesome works. I had some ribs yesterday at an RSL Club that were surprisingly saucesome. Nice one.

Love the video MH, capturing the essence of the word. Have to know the right situation to drop it.
